i would like to get a grant for a acre of land and 2 mobile homes how and where is the best way to do this

Well, you would have to make an application asnd write something called a "grant proposal." A grant proposal is a document in which you make your case; ie. argue the merits of your project. Why should you be given government funds? How will giving you funds to purchase these things benefit the community or society as a whole.
