There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill.

Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/ lion's club etc. Left-handed? There is a scholarship out there for you! Older woman returning to school? There are scholarships out there for you. Do combined searches on more than one criteria "hispanic women aviation scholarships" etc.

Go to the library and ask the reference librarian for a reference book on scholarships. They usually have more than one. There are all kinds of scholarships out there, you just have to start applying yourself and make it your summer career to send out letters everyday for scholarships. Good luck!

There are Grants out there, some you pay back after you get out of school, others you pay for while going to school, some you don't have to pay back at all. The School of your choose can lead you in the right direction to get help paying for your education. Don't let a money problem hold you back.

I have 4 children and I had no money to send them to college, but guess what Two of them are college graduates, One didn't want to go to college, and I still have one at home that wants to be a Doctor.

So Contact the school they will probably even have the paper work there for you to apply for help.

Good Luck

Apply for student loan, get a few grants and scolarships, and enroll into a work-study program (it's a program that most colleges offer for people with low income. Basically you're given a job placement on campus a few days a week, and you go to school at the same time). Talk to your college financial advisor. They can give you more ideas on how to pay for your education, and they will help you develop a financial plan that you can follow that will help you with all of your expenses. Good luck!!

You could always try to find money in your familly. Look for people how agree with your choices. Also, looking for a job is always good, even if it doesn't work the first time.

Get a newspaper round. Contact the local gazette in your area and ask if they are looking for someone to deliver thier papers.
