Will I get a larger loan amount if I live on my own versus living with my parents?

I got $2,609 this semester in an unsubsidized government loan. Do they give you more money each semester if you are living on your own instead of living at home? Or will it pretty much be the same amount?

Moving out will place you in a higher risk category but will also give reason to require more money. As long as they co-sign and stand behind you, you should get more.



What kind of rent are they charging where it seems a better choice to support yourself and pay more now and then again later? If you can find a place with everything included plus food, clothes and a higher car insurance rate go for it, otherwise your going to end up in debt for a very long time.
