you may get a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or a 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days nursing degree (ASN or BSN)....you probable have lots of the GE training executed already, yet you will prefer pre-req's first (oftentimes anatomy, physique shape, microbiology, nutrition), then you definately can prepare to a nursing software. speaking of economic help....you will possibly desire to report the FAFSA to work out what you're eligible for...there are patently provides, loans, scholarships. A community college software is low priced comparitively (the books are costly), yet once you're actually not at the instant working and might survive off of your husbands earnings, why not flow back to college and get your degree in nursing? That way, in in basic terms some years, you will have a large employable degree...nurses gets a commission properly and oftentimes have versatile hours (12 hour shifts and so on...)

i dont know your needs, so i will just post all that i have found on the web on funding for education.

there are government loans & grants, then there are private loans & schoarships.

there ARE scholarships for nursing... so try to avoid loans if you can. also avoid any sites that charge you for this free info.. they are just a scam.

REMEMBER to pass on this info to others (what you find and where) so they can have help with thier schooling as well.

This is a pretty standard question. Without spending too much time in a financial aid office, there is plenty you can do get the process started.

Start by going to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ and filling out the online form for federal student aid. After finding out what you are eligible for in terms of subsidized stafford loans, you can figure out if that is enough to finance your tuition and expenses. In most cases, it isn't. If you find that you need more money then you are offered, you may want to try a private student loan.

The best thing to do is compare the different private lenders out there, which can be done at http://www.finaid.org/loans/privatestudentloans.phtml

Most of the rates are very similar but do a little research and pick one that you think is best. I would suggest Think Financial. The application process is very quick and easy, and the check is sent directly to you so you can use the money for whatever you want. The limits are much higher with private student loans, up to $40,000 per year. You can find out more information about a Think loan at http://www.thinkfinancial.com . Good Luck.

Many hospitals in the US will pay for your school if your willing to work for them after your out of school. Just call and ask in the human resource dept. Some states even have programs to help pay as long as you work in that state.

go to www.fafsa.ed.gov

This is the first step, you will find out if you are able to get any grants and the inital step for applying for students loans.

You need to go to your schools financial aid office and get the documentation for the Stafford Loans. These are federal loans and all students are eligable for them. You can also get a PLUS loan, which a parent of guarden takes our for you to go to school. There are also private loans available, but these are approved by credit scores, with or without a co-signer.

Hope this helps and good luck.
