Fundraising ideas to help pay for an international trip?

Question

So I am wanting to go on a trip to Europe next summer withthe International Travel Club at my school. The trip is to France and Spain its is a 9 day trip unless we choose to do an optional excursion. The trip right now is $3500 but could go up of we decide to do an excursion. Or for gas and government fees!! My parents said I could go if I could pay for it. I turned 16 on Monday which is legal working age however in my town it is hard to get an actual Paying job so I am helping my moms friend 2-3 days a week. However I am only getting paid $5 an hour. Which I'm okay ilwith because it is money but obivsouly wont be enough for my trip. I have some fundraising ideas such as babysitting,cleaning houses etc. But I need more ideas I REALLYY want to go so any ides would be greatly appreciated!!!(:

My personal favorite is holding a car wash. Just go to a business and ask for permission to use their parking lot. It's a good idea to hold it somewhere near a major road where there is lots of traffic. Or if you go to church, ask your church family to help & use the church lot. And if you don't attend church, you can just go to one and ask to use their lot. Church people are super nice about that sort of stuff. Recruit friends and family to help wash, rinse, and hold signs for advertising. I held 5 car washes one summer and brought in about $1,000 (about 200 cars, $5 a car)
