Hi. I'm starting college in the fall, and I have planned to attend Boston University, my dream school. I already have earned a half-tuition scholarship. However, I am still very stuck for paying for tuition. I can't get approved for private lenders, the government has no more money to give me, and I am continually applying for more scholarships, to no avail. I am at my wits end. Does anyone have any last resort suggestions? My gpa is 4.5, I was valedictorian, and I am a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient. I have been active in school and my community. I am trying so hard. Thank you for any input you may have.

Find a cheaper school.

If you can't come up with the tuition this year (your freshman year) you certainly aren't going to be able to come up with it for the next FOUR years. Better get searching NOW before it's too late or you'll end up going nowhere in the fall.

Do what everyone does. Get a job.

With your intelligence and experience you should have no trouble.

If not, try McDonalds -- you'll be guaranteed a job there.

This means you'll be able to continue with your dream and not have to resort to cheaper, lower quality universities.

Good luck & all the best! :)

what are you planning to major on??

this is actually a pretty important question...

if you plan on getting a useless major, then its better to give up your dream school and go somewhere cheaper

in the end if you have a whole bunch of debt with a low salary, its really not worth it

sorry kid but debt will ruin your life
