How does financial aid work for graduate school in NY?

In undergrad I've received pell and tap grants. Can you receive these in graduate or law school also? If so, do you receive the same amounts? Any information on this would be much appreciated!

Pell Grants are only for undergraduates. You might qualify for some tap money, but it will be less than in undergrad. Most graduate students finance their education with student loans or with graduate assistantships.

Once you get your bachelors degree federal grants stop. So, no Pell. The good news is you can still get Stafford loans. You can borrow up to the cost of attendance of your school or the amount quoted in the table on page 21 here:
